Why are my pictures not showing in photos library from my flash drive?

Hello, hoping someone can help here! When I got my MacBook Air in 2015 (due to the Macbook before that crashing), the rep at Apple told me to save my photos from my crashed computer to a SanDisk 64GB USB Flash Drive. When I plug the flash drive in it appears in Finder (image below). The PhotoBooth pictures I was able to grab and download. However, the photo library I cannot (screenshot below).

Here's what it looks like when I click open Photos Library.

Anyone know how to fix this or be able to grab these photos and download them somewhere else? Thanks in advance!!

Your Photos Library is very small, only 123MB, there cannot be many photos in it.

Try to open the iPhoto Library again, it is much larger.

  • Select the iPhoto Library in the Finder, then change the filename extension from "iPhoto Library.migratedphotolibrary" to "iPhoto Library.photolibrary". Then try again to open this library in Photos.
  • Quit Photos, if it is running, then launch it again, while holding down the options key ⌥ . Select the iPhoto Library in the library chooser dialog.
