I accidentally deleted my Bin from iCloud instead of emptying it, can't figure out how to re-install. Any suggestion is appreciated!

Mail settings in side bar. I need to re-add the Bin to the iCloud account please.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Hey sit,

It sounds like you accidentally deleted the trash mailbox from your iCloud account. Near the name iCloud in the left sidebar, you should be able to see a plus sign inside a circle. You can click that and should be able to add a new mailbox again. You can also see in the following article how to create a new folder on iCloud.com: Organize email with folders in Mail on iCloud.com

Trash folder is inbuilt in iCloud.com it can't be deleted , did you deleted from imap account ?

Thanks but when I tried that I just got a new folder named "Bin", no trash can icon. As luck would have it however, I was due for an upgrade which auto-installed and brought the Bin back with it. I hope that never happens again as I still don't know how to actually re-install.......
