lsd/tccd running wild in Mojave problem SOLVED.

I've had a very consistent problem with the processes lsd and tccd running at startup for minutes, totaling about 350%, even making the fan run flat out. Not only that, this would happen at random intervals during the day. Naturally, this brings the machine (iMac 27", late 2013, Mojave) to its knees. I tried a lot of things I found on the internet without success. Finally I thought if it happens during the day, it might be related to some process that happens in the background during the day. Long story short, I disabled automatic Time Machine backups. I ran a backup manually to see if there would be any problems. There weren't. I reenabled automatic backups. The problem never recurred, and it's been a week. Just FYI.
