If all else fails try this which worked for me:

1 - Go to the App Store

2 - Search for Big Sur

3 - Download the full installer - ~12.4 GB

4 - Run the installer.

This works for me when I was not getting anywhere via the System/Software Update preference pane.

This worked for me. The system/software update showed a download size of 3.66 GB on my Mac.

The download size in the App Store was 12.6 GB and that is the one that installed correctly.

My Mac book pro cannot complete the installation of the macOS Big Sur 11,2,3 update. All I am asking for is WHY is this happening??????

What is the solution to this problem???

I have enough data space and a ver good WiFi network speed.

Pleas help in resolving this problem.
