I have cancelled all my subscriptions and tried to add my card to my phone but it won’t work and it doesn’t allow me to download apps without coming up with verification required

What kind of card? Is this type of card listed in the payment methods of your account details? What does the system say when you try to enter the card?

The verification usually pops up when the system has a doubt that it is you using the account. Only you should know the info to verify the account. Also, unless you have a NONE option in your payment methods, your account has to have a functioning payment method.
