My problem

Why I can’t play songs when i play it its says this content is not authorized??? All songs !!

To start, we would recommend making sure that your iPhone using a good Wi-Fi connection and is on the newest iOS version available for your device. You can take a look at how to update your iPhone in this helpful article:

Once you have updated your iPhone to the latest iOS version, try playing your music again to see if the same thing occurs. If the issue continues, we'd like to ask some additional questions to get a better understanding of the situation.


  • Are you trying to stream music as an Apple Music subscriber, or are these songs purchased from the iTunes Store?
  • Does this happen everywhere you try to listen to music, or does it only happen in a specific location?
  • When did you first notice this issue? Was it after any sort of change or update to the device?

Thanks for keeping us updated. You mentioned that this issue started after signing in to your Apple ID on a different device. Is that other device also having problems playing Apple Music?


We would recommend trying to sign out of Apple Music on your iPhone and sign back in to see if that changes the behavior. Doing this will remove any saved music on your device, so you would need to redownload any saved content. Go to Settings > [your name] >Media & Purchases, and tap Sign Out at the bottom of the page, then sign back in and test again.
