So I’ve recently got an iPhone XR and I have gone to send a voice note on Snapchat and a video just so double check, then I listening to it and it was a crackling noise.
I have tried everything such as resetting my phone, closing and deleting the app.
The microphone is perfect everywhere else, it’s on all my apps. I’ve tried most of my apps and it doesn’t work.
if anyone could reply and help it would be appreciated

Do you have a case on your iPhone. If so, remove the case and test the behavior again. Does the issue persist? Is your iPhone running the latest iOS 14.4.1?

Since you have tested the mic in other apps and aren't having the same issue, this tells us that it is isolated to Snapchat. The best route for troubleshooting within this app would be to speak with their app developers.

I have tried with all apps now and even with airpods in and the microphone is still having white noise. The only time it works is with the actual camera app. Everything else it doesn’t work with
