i want to clean up my iPad Home Screen and Delete icons to links and apps no longer needed but I’m no longer seeing the little delete indicator on icons. Does anyone know how to fix this? OS updates are up to date.

If you are experiencing difficulties with removing Apps from your iPad, you need to check your ScreenTime restrictions:
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps - ensure that this permission is set to Allow

Turn off Screen Time, delete the app and then turn Screen Time back on.
