Bluetooth Unable to Forget Device

I am trying to disconnect my FitBit Ionic watch from Bluetooth. But the circled "I" is not available to click on in order to forget this particular device. (see image below) Because of this the FitBit app is unable to connect to my watch. I have tried everything: I reset network settings, I reset all settings, I erased all content and settings, I signed out of iCloud, I deleted the app, restarted my phone, restarted the watch, reinstalled the app. What should I do? I feel like there has to be another option out there I haven't tried yet.

Yes, I understand that the FitBit connects through the app. But as you can see in the photo that was attached to my first comment, my phone says that the watch is connected to bluetooth but it's not. The app can not connected. It's incredibly frustrating especially when no one at Apple can figure out this issue.
