Trying to install Windows 10 on iMac

Bootcamp keeps saying I don't have enough memory in my external hard drive but I already have a 1TB hard drive plugged in. What is the latest OS needed? Mine is High Sierra v 10.13.6, and I can't seem to upgrade it any further. Does Bootcamp not work with High Sierra anymore?

If your iMac is older than 2012, the best path to get to W10 via Bootcamp is to first install W8.1 (without activation), and then running an in-place upgrade to W10. The in-place upgrade does not have the same restrictions as a clean install of W10 from an ISO file size perspective. It also grandfathers the W8.1 drivers correctly, allowing your Apple hardware to work properly.

Thanks! I got it to run on Windows 8.1 pro, but now I can’t seem to connect to the internet without an ethernet cable. Unfortunately, I don’t have one nor am I willing to go out and get one. Would you know how I can get the mac to connect to the wifi while booted from Windows? I have a pretty strong connection, but the Wi-Fi option itself isn’t even available anywhere.

In the File Explorer, Go to OSXRESERVED And open BootCamp, And open Setup.exe
