My Mac won’t download any new software. I have macOS High Sierra, I need MacOS Catalina in order to run turbo tax. What should I do?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13
Yes it does say you need 10.14. I didn’t notice that when I was rushed through the checkout.
I need to run premier turbo due to stocks, bonds Ect. I always bought turbo from bjs or Costco. I’ve never had a problem down loading turbo. I spent $70 on turbo cd, I hope they take it back.

Last I checked TurboTax 2020 required macOS Mojave 10.14. You need a 2012 or later Mac to run Mojave. FWIW, Intuit does have an online version which should work.

I’m not positive of the year and model. I looked in about this Mac and it says iMac 21 inch mid 2011.

That would be the year and model. You can't upgrade beyond High Sierra.
The last compatible version is macOS 10.13.6 (17G65), High Sierra
Not yet. I will try later tonight. This just stresses me out.
