My printer (epson WF-2540) disconnected when MacOS-Big Sur was installed. How do I reconnect?

As long as your WorkForce 2540 is networked, be that wireless, or wired, it is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint driver.

With the printer powered on and networked, visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, and right-click on your printer entry. Choose Reset printing system… from the secondary menu item, and this will start the re-add process. Instead of selecting Epson drivers, choose AirPrint instead, and then re-add the printer. It should resume printing.
