I need Pages to read my files. How do I get Pages onto this MacBook Pro 10.12.6?
That's all. (My Catalina MacBook Pro is in Apple's in-store Repair, which will take 2-3 weeks!)

Apple does not provide past, full installers of Pages for your installation. All that is available is the current Pages in the Mac App Store that at this point in time requires one to install Catalina or later.
Your fallback plan is to sign in to iCloud using or AppleID and use Pages for iCloud to access your existing Pages documents.
