Apple ID not changing

I’ve had my ID changed on my phone for over a year now and it still won’t change. I got an 11 today and I’m trying to change it on my new phone. The whole time I’ve had it changed I’ve tried to succeed change it multiple times by re-entering it and signing out and back in and nothing has worked. At this point it’s more than annoying

To Change it:

Start here: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support. Perform this change using a computer, as it would be more user friendly, doing so.


Or...


Contact Apple Support:

If the above does not work, then ask Apple Support for assistance. As you might suspect, no one here would know the reason for this occurrence, of course. So, contact Apple Support. They’ll know why this occurred and will run you right through the fix.

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
