All MAC system pop ups keep freezing

Hi all,

Every time a system pop up opens in my mac it freezes, however the computer itself isn't frozen.

This issue first came to light when I tried to save a word document. When i click save as, the location box thing opens, but then nothing happens. I can't click anything, i can't save where it's opened to, I can't even close the box by hitting cancel.

Word itself will still work, any other windows open will still allow me to edit etc.

Help! Making it very difficult to save Uni assignments!

You'll want to make suer that both your MacBook Pro and any apps you have installed are fully updated. Check out the articles below for help with that:

You can also see if restarting may help: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac It may seem like a simple step, but it can sometimes help resolve issues.

If the issue happens with multiple apps, you'll want to see if it also happens in a new test user: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac A new test user is a good step to isolate the issue, which can tell if the issue will happen in any user or if there is only an issue in your current user.
