Trouble replying/sending email on my ipad

Having trouble replying/sending email on my ipad

Have tried deleting virgin account and resetting etc

All settings look ok in mail settings , receiving mail ok,

Problem comes when trying to replying to or sending email

I have Blueyonder email address

i get a dialogue box stating ;

Cannot Send Mail. The Username or Password for xxxxxx@blueyonder.co.uk ...

then the option to select OK or go to Settings.

Ive tried both.


Ive deleted the account and entered the information back with the same result. Incoming mail OK


Ive searched Virgin’s website and found nothing which resolves the situation.

If you are getting the username password error, you are going to have to speak to your email provider for help. If deleting the account and adding back is not helping, then the provider is going to have to look at it. Do you have more than one email account on the iPad? If you look at your mail accounts, do you have more than one SMTP server?
