Apple ID Frustration

I have 2 apple id's. I am retired. One is associated with my prior employment email address. This email address is no longer valid. I have tried to "family share" this apple id so that I can enjoy music purchased under this ID on my iPhone, which is associated with my private email address. When I try to share, it sends a message to this email address, which is no longer valid.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I suggest you change the email address of that ID to a current, working email address. You should retain all your data and prior purchases. Note the restrictions in the article.
