incorrect Traditional Chinese Character of 尖 in language setting

Can someone please help take a look and fix the incorrect Chinese character of 尖, the traditional way should have the hook on the radical 小, there are currently 4 selections of traditional Chinese but only 2 of them have the correct writing, which is with the hook on the radical, and if most users outside of the 3 regions (Macau, Taiwan, Hong Kong) choose the first selection below like me in language setting, and it shows the wrong way of writing, it's confusing. Maybe it's simplified Chinese if it's without the hook, traditional Chinese should be with the hook?

1- Chinese, Traditional , without hook

2- Chinese, Traditional (Macau) , with hook

3- Chinese, Traditional (Taiwan) , without hook

4- Chinese, Traditional (Hong Kong), with hook

According to Kangxi dictionary (康熙字典) and Hong Kong Education Bureau (香港教育局), the correct traditional character of 尖 should have the hook at the middle straight stroke which is also the radical- 小, and what it shows on iPhones and Macs are incorrect if you do not select specifically with the region of Hong Kong or Macau in your Chinese traditional language setting. To display the correct forms of Han characters, Apple relies on changing the default font according to which language is highest in the preferred language list. Unfortunately it appears that the default font for Traditional Chinese and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), which I think is PingFang TC, has the wrong form for that character.

Have you seen any other such characters?

Fonts used for Simplified Chinese will have the form without the hook, while fonts for Japanese or Korean or Traditional Chinese should normally have it with the hook.

I agree with you, hopefully Apple would be able to fix this character, 尖, keep the hook, so it's in sync for all Traditional Chinese setting. There might be more characters with similar problems, I am not sure, perhaps others can bring up for discussion too.

I didn't realize this error until my daughter's Chinese teacher said to my daughter to correct the writing of 尖 without the hook which I thought it was incorrect as a Han character, then I figured my daughter's class was taught in Simplified Chinese but friends of mine including myself who grew up learning Traditional Chinese didn't expect writing with a hook would actually be told as a wrong word, that's why I tried to look into it further and found it even more confusing.

All in all, Traditional Chinese of this particular character,尖, should be corrected to have the form with the hook, Simplified Chinese without.

If you are composing in MacOS you can usually change the font to get the right shape for the character. But in iOS it would only be possible in a word processor like Pages.

I submitted my inquiry over there too, hopefully there will be some responses to help keep the language and its traditional writing in sync, thanks for your suggestion. Meanwhile, posting it here to make more awareness and see if anyone experiences the same confusion, perhaps with other characters too?
