Flashing Apple Logo and Cannot restore backup from mac.

My new iPhone 12 pro max has a flashing apple logo which comes on for less than a second at the startup. Is this a software issue. Also I have tried numerous times now to restore the backup from my mac to my new iPhone 12 pro max but it keeps saying that it could not restore properly right at the very end of the restoration (which take about an hour). Any one else having these same problems? If so, what is the solution?
