Have you purchased the audiobook version of the ebook you wish to listed to?
Only the actual Kindle devices have the inbuilt ability to narrate a book.
When the book is open long press on the screen & the Aa menu to adjust the font & colour appears.
As you can see I also have the audiobook version of this novel & can read the book, listen to it or both.
