Where has the Apple Music AirPlay icon gone in Ventura update?

Since updating to Mac Ventura (13.0.1) on my MacBook M1 Pro, the AirPlay icon in the Apple Music app, (the one that appears next to the volume controls at the top), no longer appears.

How can I play my Apple Music on my Bluetooth device without outputting my entire Mac's sound? Never had this issue until the moment I updated. Has it moved somewhere else, or has the most useful feature in Apple Music bizarrely been removed??

Any help much appreciated.

I believe they did not understand your question... And no, I don't have an old computer:

This is a very important feature, you want all your regular audio to be on your computer speakers, but you want to listen to your music on your Powerbeats or another high fidelity headset system... You want the option to chose where do you want to listen to your music.

Cheers,

Thank you for your help btw, really appreciate it!

The technician definitely understood my issue as I explained in great detail with screenshots. She too was surprised at the removal of the feature (as so she was told), and agreed how important it was.

Looking at your comments it's 100% not removed and I'm running the same MacOS, so I'll just try ring back until it's sorted. I'll post any solution I find here for others who may have the same strange issue.

I have two macs with the latest update: a M1 macbook air, and a 2017 12" macbook. On my M1 macbook I have the same issues but not on the 12" macbook. Now I don't think they actually removed the feature, or if they did, they didn't do a good job removing it, heres why:

When I want to stream music from my M1 macbook to my bluetooth speakers the Airplay icon in Apple music does not appear on its own, but I can force it to appear. How do I do this? By enabling my second mac as an Airplay receiver. When I do this the M1 mac actually detects the 12" mac as an Airplay device and the icon appears again in apple music. Not only that, but my bluetooth speakers are also there and I can select them and stream just the music to them again.

What I think is happening is a bug on some macs that prevents non Airplay devices like wired/bluetooth speakers/headphones, and even AirPods (I have already tried) to trigger the Airplay icon, but a true Airplay device (like another mac or, I presume, a HomePod or an Apple TV) can still trigger the Airplay icon.
