iPhone XS keeps crashing

My phone keeps crashing and restarting. There are issues with the apps as well. I will try to open one, it will look like it's thinking, and then just goes back to the home screen. This is happening with multiple apps not just one. Other times I'll be using an app and it will suddenly quit- sometimes going back to the home screen and other times crashing the whole phone. Today, I got a spinning circle of death and I had to force a restart. I've tried closing the apps and reopening, restarting, and updating software. It's happening so often that it is EXTREMELY frustrating (at least 4-5 times a day). HELP!!!
