Apple Watch series 6 - Burn on wrist

I have been wearing my watch for 2 and 1/2 months and 3 or 4 days ago I noticed that I had a burn underneath my watch, on my wrist. It is in the spot where the battery sits and you get all those lights, green, red for the different health monitors. It is not a skin rash, as the skin is actually damaged (scaly) and it is directly caused from the watch: I am worried that I have a faulty watch as I don’t think everyone that has an Apple Watch has this problem! Has anyone else had this happen to them?
