Purchase can’t be completed

I recently have bought a Apple gift card. I was going to buy in-game purchases. But a message pops up saying that my purchase can’t be completed. How can I fix this?

Purchases not working I redeemed a gift card and it worked. I then attempted to make a purchase in a game. Initially I received a success message and then a pop up window with the message “your purchase could not be completed”. please help. Thanks!
