Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I’ve previously purchased an app, I uninstalled it for a little while, I’ve gone back to install it again and the App Store is asking me to pay again, I’ve looked in my “Purchased” apps and the app isn’t there, this hasn’t happened before, I’ve reached out to the app developer and they are saying that it isn’t a problem at their end.
any suggestions?

Now you are trying to reinstall it but it is not showing up in your purchased items and you are being prompted to buy it again. When you first purchased the app were you using the same Apple ID as you are now? If not, that could be one reason why you are being prompted to purchase the app again. App purchases do not transfer from one Apple ID to another.
