Noise while charging iPad or cell phone

The noise is not constant. It is like “ping” “ping”... It is intermittent. What is causing this? I bought new chargers and it stopped for a while not it is happening again with one of the chargers.

Thank you in advance.

Are you referring to the “chime” that normally occurs when connecting the Power Adapter? If so, you should hear a single (or possibly two) chime upon connection. If the chime is repetitive, this might suggest a problem with the Power Adapter.

You state that you have recently purchased new “chargers”. Are these Apple Power Adapters - or a something else?

Be aware that the Power Adapter be able to supply a minimum of 10-12W to reliably charge most models of iPad. An iPhone Power Adapter (typically rated 5W) is inadequate.
