I have a new iPad Pro 11” and a newish 4K Sony TV and can’t get my USB-C to Digital AV Multiport Adaptor to work? I’ve checked the HDMI cord and it works on my Apple TV and older MacBook Pro. I’ve restarted my iPad, the TV, and unplugged the adapter.

If you have this Apple adapter:--> About the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple Support , and the issue still persists, make an appointment and have that adapter checked at an Apple Store.

In the meantime, if your Sony TV is a smart TV, it might support Airplay.

Should be this case, read this support article:--> Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror your device’s screen - Apple Support
