For some reason on a certain text group the Hide Alerts keeps turning on anytime someone sends me a text. I do not have Apple Watch or any other apple devices. I turn hide alerts off and then the next message I receive in the group the hide alerts toggles back on. Is there a solution to this? Only happens with one text group.

To start, is this a group iMessage, or a group SMS? Are all of the participants in your Contacts as well?

Yes, both people in the group are contacts and both have iphones so it’s imessage.
I toggle “Hide Alerts” off so that i receive alerts when they text me. As soon as someone in the group texts me the “Hide Alerts” toggles back on, all by itself. Does that make more sense?
