Boot into Safe Mode, and try the install again.

If you didn’t just download the installer... Delete the installer and re-download the installer. Some installers that were downloaded a while back and previously unused can have older certificates,

If you did just download the installer, use System Preferences > Time & Date and set your system time to manual and set the system date to October 1st, 2017, and then try launching the installer again. If the installer launches, stop at the first installer prompt and set your system time back to automatic, and only then switch back to and then resume the installer. Apple has sometimes served older installers with old certificates, as I’ve met a couple of times. Setting the system date to just after the OS was released (temporarily) has allowed me to get past this certificate check.

The text is in Swedish: Ett fel inträffade under förberedelsen för installationen. Försök köra det här programmet igen. (An error occured during the installation preparation. Try to run this program again)

I’m running on a mid 2011 iMac and using Sierra today, but need to upgrade to High sierra to be able to run my Parallels program.
