on my 6 plus my iOS is still on 12.5 what do I do to get 14

There is nothing you can do, sorry. An iPhone 6 plus can only go to iOS 12.5.1. if you need to run something newer you will have to buy a newer device.

Your phone can not run anything higher than 12.5.1. It is obsolete.
