Update over cellular data

You can't update over Cellular data You need a solid WIFI connection to update IOS

Sorry - only WiFi

Why can’t I update over cellular? I have an unlimited voice & data plan with my courier and their 5G speed is more than 3 times better than my WiFi speed!

I should be alerted before I use that option, that’s fine. But, at the end of the day it is my choice not Apple’s to make!

I don’t have easy access to a decent WiFi connection. If I did, I wouldn’t have sprung for an IPhone in the first place. Isn’t there some way to update using cellular data? I have unlimited data plan. I’d rather not have to drive into town for every update...
