iPad keeps shutting down

​Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. It's always important to make sure that your iPad is working as expected. As we understand it, you've verified that your iPad is charged fully, but it still shuts down. Is that right? We'd like to help out with this.

Does this happen when you're using a specific app? Knowing that might help in narrowing this down a bit.

Also, does your iPad seem to be shutting off entirely and staying off, or does it show an Apple logo and restart after shutting down?

Which software version are you using? You can check by tapping Settings > General > About.

As another possibility, are you charging using an Apple-branded charger, or a third-party charger? Have you found the same thing happens regardless of how you're charging your iPad?

You might also double-check your battery usage using this guide: About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Are you seeing any particular apps using a large amount of battery life unexpectedly?
