M1 MacBook Pro Bluetooth Headphones

Hello,

Can anyone help me with this problem. I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13 laptop and I'm having a lot of issues with Bluetooth when I connect my headphones.

My headphones work fine on my mobile and they were also working on my previous MacBook Pro.

I waiter for a patch for Big Sur (I'm currently on version 11.2.3) but it didn't help. I restarted the Bluetooth module and deleted all devices but that didn't help either.

I don't know what else to do. My Bluetooth keyboard and mouse are working fine from day one, they only start to lag and stutter when I connect headphones. Headphones usually work fine for about 3 minutes and then they start to glitch audio and slowing my mouse and keyboard. I tried to have only headphones connected but I got the same problem.

Is there anyone else or is my unit broken?

Greetings Accselory,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! It seems you're losing connection to your Bluetooth accessories when using your wireless headphones with your Mac.

Check for wireless interference, as outlined in the article below:

If you have devices connected to the Thunderbolt 3 port, then check out the section of the article below:

"If you're using USB 3 or Thunderbolt 3 devices with your computer, you can limit their potential to interfere with nearby wireless devices:

  • Use a high-quality, shielded USB or Thunderbolt 3 cable with each device.
  • Move your USB 3 or Thunderbolt 3 devices—including any USB hubs—farther away from your wireless devices.
  • Avoid placing USB 3 or Thunderbolt 3 devices on top of your Mac Pro, Mac notebook, or Mac mini.
  • Turn off any USB 3 devices that aren't in use."

Kind regards.
