1. Make sure Date and Date is set to automatically.
If already checked, uncheck and recheck it.

Hey there,
I had this same issue today and I have figured out a solution. Simply head to System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies then unselect any proxies that are checked. After this relaunch Safari and it should work.
Thanks Dominic. Date and Time automatic set and reset didn't work. I don't think I have any antivirus software.
