How to restore old text messages from Back up - iPhone 8

I use an iPhone 8 and have set to automatically backup every night to iCloud. I seldom delete any text messages but accidentally deleted a conversation that I now need. The conversation occurred about a year ago but was deleted about six moths ago. How do I get those messages back?
