Shortcut problem with "Choose from menu" action

I have created an App launcher shortcut using the "Choose from menu" action that then opens the required App based on the user input. The problem I have is that occasionally the menu is not displayed on the screen. Rotating the device from landscape to portrait brings the menu onto the screen. Rotating it back keeps it on the screen. At other times, the menu does appear first time in landscape mode without having to rotate the screen. This bug seems to only happen in landscape mode, whenever the shortcut is run in portrait mode it is fine and the menu appears every time. Anyone else seen this problem and know how to fix it? I'm using a 2020 iPad Pro with iPadOS 14.4.1.

Neither of those worked. However if I add an action Set Zoom Off just ahead of the choose action, then it works fine! Weird.

Hi Yesruf,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, when you run a specific shortcut in landscape mode, a menu does not display on the screen however it displays in Portrait mode, do we have that right? Since noticing this issue, has your iPad been restarted? Also, you can remove the shortcut and recreate it to test if this continues to occur.

Restart your iPad

Delete shortcuts
