Apple ID account

On my current device, I signed out of my main Apple ID account and created a new account. I decided to not use this new Apple ID account and log back into my main Apple ID account. But every time I try and do so, it says that it isn’t available. The account that I am trying to sign into is currently logged in with another device of mine too. Why is it not letting me sign into that Apple ID and what can I do to sign into it with my current device.

When you made the new account, did you change the email address of the current ID to a new ID?

I was talking about my emails, but I guess that isn’t what you were asking for. I am lost on what is being asked. I created a whole new account with a whole new email address.
