My daughter's phone went completely black and will not turn on. I did a forced start up and apple logo came on then the screen to input password but it will not allow me to input password. Touch panel does not work. Is there something else i can do?

Well, dropping it could still have damaged it. Regardless, at this point I would suggest making a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options. Do note that the iPhone 6 is still supported by Apple at this point in time, but it is a very dated model that cannot be upgraded past iOS 12.5, so eventually newer apps will not be able to run on it.
