My daughter's phone went completely black and will not turn on. I did a forced start up and apple logo came on then the screen to input password but it will not allow me to input password. Touch panel does not work. Is there something else i can do?

Regardless, at this point I would suggest making a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options. Do note that the iPhone 6 is still supported by Apple at this point in time, but it is a very dated model that cannot be upgraded past iOS 12.5, so eventually newer apps will not be able to run on it.

Ever had the screen replaced?
The support article you came here from should provide you with what steps you can take to try to regain access to this phone. Per chance, did it get wet? If so, it may be possible that it is damaged and the reason it is not working properly.
No never have.
I tried all the steps but it did not work. Never gotten wet maybe dropped a couple of times but it has a good cover on it and screen never broken.
