Setting up new phone. Some apps asking for my husbands Apple ID instead of mine. I can use his but would prefer to use my own

To add to the list of posts > you might have to purchase them again if they are not free apps.

If you are restoring from a back up these apps might be greyed out, tap and hold to delete them before downloading again with your new Apple ID.
Note too that if you sign your AppleID out of the App Store and sign his AppleID in, you then will have to wait 90 days before you can swap the AppleIDs again. You can only change the AppleID associated with the App Store once every 90 days.
Seems like those apps where downloaded using his Apple ID. As such they are forever tied to it.
If you need to use your own Apple ID, delete them, and download them again.
You must have shared the same ID at some time.
