Does anybody know how I can get rid of random gmails texting me with really random texts? for example i’ll get a text from “****@gamil.com” and the text will be like “ir85uf75ur8o5.nu5ks5lsfdls3.solar?N$p?L$T?m&V$=I$Y?H&Q?L$0&B$0p3”. Does anybody know what this means and how to stop it? i have blocked every person who has texted me like that but i keep getting them, help!

Actually, they do, you just have to escalate the call until you get someone with a clue.
What needs to happen is Verizon needs to make a change on their messaging gateway to block ALL SMS and MMS messages to your number that originate from email addresses instead of phone numbers.
They can do it. Whether you can get them to do it is another question entirely.

I am having the same issue and the feature you suggested isn't available for these messages. I don't get the Report Junk option. I have to block and delete. Even changing my password hasn't helped and Verizon does not offer additional tools.
I'll reach out to them again but this seems more like an Apple issue, not a carrier issue.
