I was thinking of getting the iPhone 14 Max Pro. It comes with a USB-C to Lightening cable to charge the phone. Will the USB to Lightening cable charge the iPhone 14 Max Pro (as it does now) when I plug in into the USB port when using Car Play?

The iPhone 12 doesn’t use a standard USB cable for charging. But my car has USB ports. Can I use a cord from my 6S to charge the 12 in my car? Can I safely my charger cord from my 6S iPhone to charge my iPhone 12 from the standard USB port in my car?

Yes You can. You can use your iPhone 6s's USB to Lightning Cable to connect your iPhone 11 and CarPlay.
