Having issues with archive utility

the archive utility in my Macbook Air (2013) is open automatically and I do not know how to fix this, I tried everything , this happened after I did my last Big Sur update

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

Sounds like you're having an issue with your Archive utility. To clarify, are you referring to a third-party application or the built-in ability of your Mac to zip and unzip files and folders?


If referring to a third-party application you've installed, you can disable it from launching at startup by going to  > System Preferences > Users & Groups. Choose the user account and select the Login Items tab and delete the app you no longer want launching at startup. For more help, check out: Change Users & Groups Login Items preferences on Mac
