i need help with my 1999 imac. putting memory in

Help, I pulled the original paired memory out, and I cannot get it back in. Blue 2000 IMAC. Build in 1999. Thank you!

Perhaps if the two memory sticks (or slots) were damaged, they might not reinstall.

Used to have instructions with image ~ most older pages aren't online anymore.

[fix it-sites may still have something this old]

These go into their slots a certain way, & carefully! ~ I recollect my iMac DV G3.

Mine was 400MHz 'slot-load' DVD/read+CD R/W, FW, 1999 vintage; green/white.
