How do I add memory to iMac 24"
I mistakenly bought my 24" M1 iMac with 1TB of memory instead of 2. Is there any way to increase memory? I do understand that on-board memory is on the chip and cannot be upgraded.

The 1TB number is the drive size, not the RAM memory. In any case, you cannot have it upgraded. You have 14 days from the purchase date to return it for an exchange.

You're referring to storage, not memory (RAM).
You can connect an external drive for additional storage if you need it.
Thanks for the information. That's what I thought.
You're welcome.
