See if you can access the original account. If you forgot the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.

You are welcome. Are you in account recovery? The Recovery Process is an automated process and the length of time it takes can vary a lot. Apple ID Support can only answer your questions. The only way to reset it instantly is to remember the password and sign into your Apple ID.
Thanks, Eric, I tried that but had to go through the password torture gauntlet of repeated login to nowhere. I have had to go through a waiting period, before I can crack through the apple wall which was built with cannon balls to get access to my own pictures. They just keep saying that it might not really be me. Would a DNA sample help?
