So, it seems easy enough to sync imessage, and it is working fine on my iPad, syncing everything as it should with messages sent on my iPhone. But messages sent from my iPad aren't then being merged with messages sent on my phone (I'm talking strictly imessages and not SMS)
I have both devices set to sync with iCloud so not sure what else to check? I'm new to the Apple ecosystem so maybe I'm missing something obvious? Thanks

We understand your messages are not syncing across your devices. We recommend the steps in the following article, specifically under the section "If you receive messages on one device but not the other":
