Personal Hotspot

Hi, I have a brand new IPhone 12, only taken out of the box a month ago. I upgraded from my Iphone 7 plus, which I didn’t experience any problems with, the only reason for upgrade was the battery life. I have noticed some issues with my personal hotspot on my Iphone 12 however, my personal hotspot will only show up on other devices trying to connect to my personal hotspot if I reset my network settings every time. This is tremendously frustrating and any help would be greatly appreciated.
