Mail Notifications not working in macOS Big Sur

Banner Notifications for new messages in Mail have simply stopped working for me even though I have them turned on in the Mail app and in Notifications in System Preferences.

Has anyone else experienced this?

notifications don't appear big sur 11.6 Hey guys, I'm running mac os big sur build 11.6 on a 2017 MB pro. For some reason, I don't get notification pop ops when I get new mail, new SMS, etc. I always double-check and 'do not disturb' is turned off. Anyone else with this issue? tnx

Message notifications Hello, I currently have an M1 2020 13" macbook air, running on big sur version 11.1. I am no longer receiving notifications for messages in the upper corner of the screen. I have notifications turned on for messages, I have tried turning the settings off and on again, I have tried restarting the laptop multiple times, and I have used activity monitor to reset notifications/ messages. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I don't notice the notification in the dock very often so I really depend on the pop-up in the corner. Thanks!
