Trying to get High Sierra onto a USB

My mid 2012 Mac Pro won't go into recovery mode to do a factory reset, so it seems I need to put High Sierra onto a USB so I can load it from there.

The link I use goes right to the App store but High Sierra isn't available there. Is there another link? Thanks!

Try installing this in Safe Mode, but not using Firefox...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup).
