Unable to update Watch series 3

I noticed that there was an update for my watch. Iphone 8 is up to date software 14.4, and watch is running 7.2. The update says its 191mb on the watch, but on the phone it says I need 2.5G of available space and I have 1.9G available on the watch.

I have no extra apps on the watch, all are what it came with. No music, cleared all e-mails, and text messages, and no photos.

Why do I need 2.5G of available space, for a 191mb update? Is there another way to update it, that I'm missing? Or, am I out of luck to do any future updates.

Many thanks, Daren

To Free-Up Storage:

For songs, see the "Remove music from Apple Watch" section in:

Add music to Apple Watch - Apple Support

and for pictures, see the "Limit photo storage on Apple Watch section in:

Choose a photo album and manage storage on Apple Watch - Apple Support

Also, try unpairing and pairing your watch again and restoring from the backup just created in the unpairing process. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system. This should result in no loss of data and in some cases can free a lot of storage.
